Welcome

The Meharry Medical College (MMC), Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC), and Tennessee State University (TSU) Cancer Partnership (MVTCP) is the longest-standing U54 Comprehensive Partnership to Advance Cancer Health (CPACH) in the United States. For over 20 years, this collaborative partnership has provided a robust infrastructure to address and overcome cancer disparities, while expanding research opportunities, recruitment, training, and outreach.

Mission

The MVTCP is focused on the shared goal of eliminating cancer disparities through a proportional approach encompassing basic, translational, clinical, and population science. Overall goals for this competing renewal application are to strengthen the capabilities of Meharry Medical College (MMC) and Tennessee State University (TSU), to engage in cancer research and expand research in cancer health disparities at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC).
